Dr. S is a very nice guy. Everyone who works with him adores him. But Dr. S has two very peculiar habits which are only noticeable to the medical transcriptionists who listen to his dictation:
Although the chart in front of him clearly indicates the patient's age, he always describes his patients as "a 70-ish-year-old man," or a "50-ish-year-old woman."
Although the chart in front of him clearly indicates when the patient arrived in the Emergency Room, Dr. S can't seem to tell time. If the chart indicates that the patient arrived at 2:03 p.m., he might say that it was 4:00 o'clock. If the chart indicates that the patient was checked in at 3:15 p.m., he might say that it was noon.
