Negotiating A Rate

When people complain about how much money doctors get paid, they are often reminded that a doctor is paying off the costs of student loans and the price of acquiring the knowledge which might save a patient's life. When negotiating a rate with a medical transcription agency, it is important to remember that you are not just paying for words. You are paying for someone else's skills as an interpreter and for that person's ability to do the job well and deliver a finished product within the agreed-upon time constraints.
